Welcome To Wycliffe Nga Tamariki Kindergarten

We are very proud of our warm, welcoming atmosphere.  We are committed to providing an intercultural environment where all children's cultural backgrounds are acknowledged.  We provide exciting and creative learning experiences in a peaceful garden setting.


Our Session Times Are:
Mon to Fri              8:45am to 1:00pm
Mon Tue Thu & Fri  8:45am to 2:45pm


Our Staff To Child Ratio:
We have a ratio of one teacher to 10 children, with additional non teaching support as well.

Wycliffe Nga Tamariki Philosophy:
At Wycliffe Nga Tamariki Kindergarten, we aim to develop each child holistically by:
  • Fostering a sense of fun and belonging.
  • Encouraging self-help skills, caring for themselves, others and the environment.
  • Encouraging the importance of resilience and learning to take responsible risks.
  • Providing new and exciting learning opportunities in a fun and challenging environment.
  • Offering a programme of variety and choice within all areas of the kindergarten curriculum.
 We respect all children as individuals and strive to achieve equity by providing opportunities for all and by being responsive teachers.
 We acknowledge the importance of family/whanau involvement and aim to provide a welcoming environment where everyone has a sense of belonging.
