Taradale Philosophy:
At Taradale Kindergarten we encourage children to develop self confidence and skills for life - a sense of fun, curiosity, creativity, responsibility, problem solving, independence, decision making, communication, co-operation, resilience, perseverance, empathy, sharing and pride in their personal achievements. This encompasses our children's social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and cultural as well as language growth while acknowledging their individuality. Awareness of sustainability in the world around them is fostered through our teachings, relationships and the work in our gardens.  We provide a vibrant and supportive teaching and learning environment where connecting links with the family/whanau, community and the wider world are affirmed and extended.

Testimonial:

To Taradale Kindergarten

We are so sad to be leaving.  Thank you so much for the wonderful start to life that you have given our boys.  The interactions, experiences and opportunities have been so amazing.  Cooper is so passionate about learning; he has soaked up so much from kindy.  He is constantly surprising us with facts, songs and funny stories.....if only he could be at kindergarten longer.  I love how each of your share your strengths and talents with the children and they get to try so many different things out.  We love you rituals and traditions - they create life long memories for the children and their parents.  Arohanui, Sarah, Gus, Blake and Cooper Solomon
