Welcome To Taradale Kindergarten

Taradale Kindergarten is a great place to be! We are situated on the edge of Taradale Park behind the local shopping centre. We enjoy and appreciate fantastic family and wider community support.Taradale Kindergarten offers a place-sharing facility to meet the individual needs of our families who are unable to attend all sessions offered.

We have a wonderful committee of parents who work in partnership with teachers to provide a well-resourced, safe, challenging learning environment for our children.We share our community’s pride in Taradale Kindergarten and feel honoured to be entrusted with the education and learning journeys of their children.

Our Session Times Are:
Mon to Fri 8:15am to 12:30pm
Mon Tue Thu & Fri 1:15pm to 3:15pm

Our Staff To Child Ratio:
We have a ratio of 1 teacher to 10 children, and have additional non teaching support as well.

Taradale Philosophy:
At Taradale Kindergarten we encourage children to develop self confidence and skills for life - a sense of fun, curiosity , creativity, responsibility, problem solving, independence, decision making, communication, co-operation, caring, sharing and pride in their personal achievements. This encompasses our children's social, emotional, cognitive, physical, cultural and language growth while acknowledging their individuality. We provide an environment where connecting links with the family/whanau and the wider world are affirmed and extended.
